LTC Mickey West

Mickey began his military service in the summer of 2000, after meeting his future wife, Elizabeth West. He served as an enlisted soldier in the Pennsylvania National Guard. Returned to Edinboro University of Pennsylvania to complete his undergraduate degree and Criminal Justice and his direct commission through ROTC: branch detailed as an infantry officer and then switching to the Signal Corps.

Mickey deployed to South Korea and to Iraq twice. His love for the Signal Corps was only surpassed by his love for his family. He led with heart, boots on the ground, and an open door policy. He was highly decorated, and had the best party shirt at the ball.

He served 24 years in the Army and is survived by his wife of over 20 years, Elizabeth West, and his three daughters Iris, Natalie, and Autumn.
